Port Canaveral boarding time

Hello,

I wonder why they STILL print 1:30 pm as the emabarkation time? I have always boarded earlier than that.

Anyone hae an opinion?

Gottacruz...on your recent Fascination trip...when did you all embark?

We've sailed out of Port Canaveral 6 times, with 3 of those times being on Carnival ships. We have always been on the ship by noon!! The embarkation times listed in the Carnival brochure have never been correct with any cruise we took.

I just got back and they let us on at 11:30 for a 4:30 departure time. I have a feeling that the next cruise after us got on later because we were late getting off due to an immigrant that didn't check with customs yet. They say all the immigrants have to be accounted for before anyone else can leave the ship. So we didn't get off until 9:00 am. I'm sure this delayed the next cruise for getting on.

Gogetter we were able to get on the Sovereign before noon. We got to the pier and by the time we parked and went in we walked right on the ship. Can't tell you how early you could have gotten on but I will tell you they started disembarkation by 7:30. The tickets we got for the Sovereign this time around said boarding started at noon.
