Celebrity just cancelled our Hawaii cruise :(

Sorry to hear about the cruise being cancelled. Found out today we had friends also booked on this one. Not sure what they are planning on doing.

Again thanks to all for the well wishes. My wife was luckily able to switch her vacation to summer. We were able to take advantage of the compensation and booked the 6/18/05 14 day Constellation Baltics cruise. Since this is a longer cruise than what was offered by Celebrity, we negotiated and paid the difference. In all, we are happy and commend Celebrity for their generous offer and service.

Sorry about the cancellation, Rat, but very glad to hear that you're able to go in June. Congratulations on your new booking. This cruise will be an extra special one. Be sure to let us know when you get those cruise docs. :cool: 14 Days- sounds great.

I'm so sorry to hear about the cancellation....I remember that happened once with us with the Carnival Paradise. The Paradise had been experiencing lots of propulsion problems during the month, with cruise after cruise being cancelled. Sure enough, the night before we were supposed to board the ship, our cruise was cancelled. We were able to get onto the Imagination the following week, I believe it was.

I'm so glad to hear you'll be able to use the compensation from Celebrity....Just think - Now you've got a cruise to look forward to!!
