TexasGal
Hi everyone! I was wondering where I could go and take my luggage to get weighed whenever i'm done packing so I can have a peace of mind. I have weighed it on my bathroom scale, but it doesn't seem right to me. Would a UPS store or someplace like that weigh it for me? Thanks so much!! ~~Keri~~ 1st cruise~Golden Princess~June 1, 2005~Western European Capitals

TexasGal
LOL...well it said 13 pounds...does that sound right for a suitcase full of clothing?? It seemed heavier than that. PS-I know what you mean about them never lying lol! :cheesy: ~~Keri~~ 1st Cruise~Golden Princess~June 1, 2005~Western European Capitals
Shari2
Keri...we just use our bathroom scale, also. What size is your piece of luggage that you weighed? Is it a carry-on; or is it a larger piece?
TexasGal
It is a bigger suitcase...maybe i'm doing it wrong...will try again later on this weekend after graduation stuff and family leaves. ~~Keri~~ 1st cruise~Golden Princess~June 1, 2005~Western European Capitals
Shari2
Thirteen pounds does sound pretty light. I would go ahead and weigh it again. Does your scale give your weight correctly when you weigh in? I think, on my last cruise, my 30- inch suitcase was weighing in at 47 pounds. I just made the 50-pound limit. I had it pretty stuffed, though! It was for a 15-day cruise. hazelson
Keri - if you just set the case on the scales it won't weigh properly. Just weigh yourself then weigh yourself again with the bag - the difference is the weight of your packed case. If you have already tried this and it still only weighed 13 pounds - I need some packing advice from you lol. TTFN Jennifer
