Best Cabins and In room Info

Of course every ship is different, but we always enjoy have a couple of chairs and a small sofa w/ coffee table to watch TV. A small fridge for all cabins would be a must if I was designing a cabin. Vanity mirrors that tilt. Better blow dryers. Another thing I hated on the Sun Princess was that my night light would not work with the lights all off, current was not there when off, so our room was completely dark at night. If it wasn't for a sliver of light coming under the door to help me get my bearings, I'd have no toes left! If you don't have a outside cabin a few camera views of the ship on the TV would be nice, this would entice a person to get out and enjoy the ship. These are just small convieniences that may life easier.

One of the things we appreicated about RCI was that we were kept informed of the daily goings on, you didn't have to read the letter all the time. Tips on shopping on shore, and cruise ship specials of the day. Plus when we missed a show, they had it later on our cabin TV, late at night or the next morning, so we didn't feel like we missed a thing, or we got to enjoy it again. Nice touch.

In my opinon RCI and Princess was equal in food, but we prefered RCI for entertainment and service, and Sun Princess was a nightmare to get around on, you had to take a evevator to one deck and the walk to the other end of the ship to get another elevator to get where you wanted to go. In other words there wasn't one elevator that took you from top to bottom.
