Jason
'Live with Regis and Kelly's' 'Mom's Dream Come True' Special Ends With a Shocking Surprise for the In-Studio Audience Audience of Deserving Moms to Join Regis and Kelly on Pride of America Cruise NEW YORK, May 6 -- Today, "Live with Regis and Kelly's" annual "Mom's Dream Come True" show ended with a thrilling surprise for the 138 audience members. In "Live's" Manhattan studio for the taping of the 15th annual special -- in which Regis and Kelly surprise five deserving moms by making their special dreams come true -- those watching in the studio got a huge surprise of their own. The audience, comprised of deserving mothers who themselves had been considered for "Mom's Dream," and the loved ones who nominated them, was stunned when Regis and Kelly revealed that each of them plus a guest would be joining "Live's" exciting June cruise on the maiden voyage of NCL America's Pride of America. From June 18-24, "Live" is partnering with NCL America and their stunning new ship, Pride of America, cruising the historic ports of the Eastern United States on her maiden voyage, becoming the first nationally-syndicated program to broadcast a full week of shows (airing June 20-24) from aboard a cruise ship. Regis and Kelly have commandeered the whole ship, and are giving away free cruises to 1,000 contest winners and fans to join them for this spectacular weeklong vacation at sea through "Live's Pride of America Cruisin' Reunion" watch-to-win contest. And today it was pandemonium on the "Live" set when Regis and Kelly announced that the lucky members of the "Mom's Dream" audience also will be aboard when Pride of America sets sail. "Each year, it always feels great to pay tribute to a select number of deserving moms, but this year it was a thrill for us to have the chance to expand our horizons ... to not only honor the five women in the show, but also bring in more than 100 other moms and honor them as well," explained Michael Gelman, executive producer of "Live." "And with the Pride of America cruise coming up in June, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to tie the two together." A few stats on the lucky audience: all were deserving mothers whose nomination letters had been considered by "Live" producers for "Mom's Dream Come True." All together, they have 205 children, 179 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Shari2
I usually watch this, "Mother's Day show," every year, but I had it on tape this time, and I accidentally taped over it. It would have been fun to watch the audience when they found out they all got a free cruise.
