Should they at least come by and say.,...hey we are not dining room people so we will never be at dinner, start without us....is there any kind of prop[er ettiquette? Your thoughts...pro and con.... Dan Posted May 17, 2005 Report Share Posted May 17, 2005 If the seating is 615, we don't feel obliged to wait after 630 or so. Otherwise, I wouldn't wait more than about 10 minutes for them to show up. DaCruzNut Posted May 17, 2005 Report Share Posted May 17, 2005 I, usually, don't feel obligated to let my tablamates know that I won"t be joining them. Of course, if I know I"ll be skipping a meal, I wil advise them. Usually, the waiter decides when to take the order, and serve dinner, so the onus is off you...
