Alaska was our first cruise and it was unbelievable. A funny thing happened on our trip. I got this idea that if the "Memorex" lady can sing and make the glass break then why can't we try yelling and make the glacier crack and fall. I told this to the group around us, which happened to also be our tablemates about the idea and they said sure let's try it. We yelled as loud as we could and before we knew it the whole ship at the bow got involved. The captain even said over the loud speaker that he would blow the horn on the count of 3 and everyone yell. At first it did not seem like anything was happening but then we all heard the crack and just after a huge piece of ice fell into the water. The crowd ofcourse went wild with laughter. The chunk of ice created such a wave that it rocked the ship. Needless to say this was the talk of the cruise for days later. This was a perfect cruise for us and I hope it will be for you too.
