We have a stop in Ochoa Rios on our Caribbean cruise in February..and i had a question, when you say Ã¢â‚¬Å“a short walk to the Island Village and Margaritaville. Ã¢â‚¬Â what exactly is your definition of short.. Also, did you happen to notice where the nicest closest beach for swimming?

Joey - I am absolutely the worst person to ask a question about distance...I have no concept of mileage. With that said the pier to the parking lot is quite long. It will take you maybe 5 minutes walking at a fairly slow pace. Once you get to the end of the pier there is a parking lot and then a few stores. At the end of that block is Margarittaville and the Island Village. No more than a 10 minute slow walk. You can see a couple of beaches from the ship but I don't know if they are public beaches. Sorry I can't be more help. Enjoy your trip.
