Suzila
Our son and daughter-in-law are giving her parents and hubby and me a cruise on Carnival Imagination the end of July as a gift. I'd like to buy some insurance, "just in case" (I am caretaker for my 88 and 90 year old parents...anything can happen). I don't want to buy the insurance through the cruise line. We've had insurance for cruises before, but can't recall the company we used offhand. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Thanks so much! KeithnRita
Sue, We've used this company before on a few occasions as they came highly recommended. Luckily we've never had to make a claim, so can't help you there. http://www.csatravelprotection.com/jsp/index.jsp
JoeyandDavid
Hey Sue, One other note, make sure you verify the state resident requirements.. The insurance that we purchased for our European Cruise specifically listed Domestic Partners as Family, not all policies are alike, not saying you need a clause like that, just mentioning it becuase policies very from state to state depending on local law.... and when you buy over the WORLD WIDE WEB.. you should well.. as President Reagan used to say "Trust..but Verify" know what I mean? always<]
jtutak
I have been using Travelex. If you read the fine print you will find their coverage is primary, most others are secondary. They should appear has one of your choices on insuremytrip.com
