Nearest Amtrak Station

Hello to everyone,

Does anyone know that nearest Amtrak Station to Port Canaveral in Florida? I am going on the Glory in October 2005 and I want to take the train to the cruise port. Any information that you can give me will be appreciated.

There may be a closer station but the airlines fly to Orlando. Perhaps that is the closest station for the train as well.

Mebert is correct Orlando is the station to use you, will need ground transportion because it is quite a distance(40 or 50 miles) from the pier. where are you departing from???? http://www.amtrak.com/pdf/national.pdf

I am leaving from Port Canaveral, Florida. Thanks for all the information that you all have given me. I am exploring my options.

I meant to ask what city near your home are you leaving from to get to Orlando or Port Canaveral?????

The car train stops in Sanford, about halfway between Port Canaveral and Orlando. I've taken it from Lorton, VA to Sanford.
