GottaCruz
OOps..............almost forgot...............I never leave home without my eye mask, just in case we should get an upgrade to an outside cabin which we don't request, I need to block out that morning light to sleep late. schatje
I do generally what has been listed already but this time I am going to bring my small bullet blender to make smoothies in the afternoon. With all that fresh fruit laying about why not have a party.
Lisa63
I bring a journal, and I write once or twice a day. A couple of times, while writing in the library, I was mistaken for a crew member.
Bodger
Last cruise I had a Carter quick release kit for a 14" Delta bandsaw that was in my luggage. I'll bet I was the only person on the whole ship with one! Bodger
GottaCruz
Bodger, I have no idea whatsoever what that is. Is that something I should know???
hazelson
I take my "squishy" pillow for sleeping at night - between my knees. It works two-fold - it helps my bad back and makes for a great birth control device :o) I also take my T.E.N.S. unit - it works wonders on sore muscles and neck aches (the kind you get from too cold air conditioning) TTFN Jennifer
Bodger
Most likely not. I am a hobbist woodworker/woodturner, and this is a device that allows a forgetful/lazy person to release the tension on the bandsaw blade so that the band does not stretch or take on a funny shape from sitting too long in one position. It was on sale at Woodcraft in Pompano Beach and being a somewhat obscure item is not readily available in Canada, so it made sense for me to purchase it and bring it back home. We flew in to FLL a day early and were coming home right after disembarking, so it traveled with me in my suitcase. The box was about 18"x4"x4" so was manageable. I would have been extremely surprised if anyone else on ship had one! I won't be packing one for the next cruise, but if I find something else on sale you never know. (BTW a 'bodger' was a person that worked in the forests of Britain in centuries past, turning wood items like chair legs and stretchers to sell to chairmakers.) schatje
I usually make copies (in color) of all our documents but this time I sealed them in photo laminated pockets. I put the copy of our passport picture page on one side and the signature page on the other. Looks great and waterproof. I am going to carry the copy with us off ship as it has all our info on it and leave the original in our safe on board.
rogue
Every once in a while, I take my kids along, but only God knows why I would actually do that.
TheSkipper
My Swiss Army Knife. Find a use for it on every cruise. The sissors always come in handy as well as some of the other tools. Which reminds me, I have not packed it for our Saturday departure for Amsterdam and the River Duchess!! Gotta go dig it up!
