obladi1
We are sailing on the Golden Princess 12/17/05 and have booked cabins on the Lido deck towards the front of the boat. I am a little concerned with motion and seasickness. Has anyone had any expierence with these cabins??
cruisinmama
Hi obladi1 I also had forward cabins but on the Explorer, and I did feel quite sick on our last Cruise.. whenever I was forward and higher up...so we switched our cabins to just behind the hump ..best we could get as we needed two rooms very close to each other.. Good Luck I'm sure one of the CruiseCrazies will be better to help you..
GottaCruz
We haven't sailed that ship but have had forward cabins on others. We never experienced a problem. Welcome aboard, obladi1. We're very glad to have you as a member of our CruiseCrazies family. Please don't hesitate to jump right in. We 're a very friendly bunch and we love new members. Please don't hesitate to ask as many questions as you'd like. That's what we're here for. It's nice to meet you, obladi1. Hope to see you here often. Shari2
Hi obladi1! Welcome to Cruise Crazies! I think it all depends on the ship and the weather. We were on the Infinity twice, and we were all the way forward of the ship both times. The first time, it was as calm as riding on glass, (except for one day with heavy winds). This was a Panama Canal cruise. The next time we were on the Infinity for a Hawaii cruise, round trip from San Diego; it was really rocky for the first couple of days, and I think you do feel it more when you're more forward of the ship. I actually got a bit sea-sick for the first time in 8 cruises on that one. If you're prone to sea-sickness, I would think about booking somewhere more mid-ship and on a lower deck. Hope you have a great cruise!
