jacketwatch
 Hi guys. Well I am on my vacation count down. In exactly 1 month we will be on the Sapphire Princess departing from Seattle to Ketchican, Juneau, Skagway and Victoria. What clothing should be bring and do we need rain wear? Thanks, Larry

I can't help you with your question but if you let me know when your cruise is, I'll be glad to post it to our CruiseCrazies calendar for you. jtutak
Yes bring rain wear - I had a very wet trip. See this site for excellent Alaska packing info. http://www.alaskapersonaltours.com/packing.html
sewut51
I've lived in Juneau, Kodiak and Nikiski. We used to say there are only 3 seansons in Alaska, winter, last winter and next winter. It's not that bad, but I would certainly bring rainwear where you are going. A rainsuit that was large enough to wear a jacket under would be a good idea, IMO Sewut
rogue
Just remember one thing for Alaska: layers. Bring a few sweaters or sweatshirts and you should be fine. Also, rainwear is a must. We were there last year, and there is not many places in the world as glorious as Alaska. Enjoy. Howard
sailingrose
Layers and Raingear here too. Also if you plan on visiting the glaciers, a hat and gloves would be good also.
jacketwatch
Thanks everyone. I was pretty sure about the layerd look but no too sure about rainwear. Now I am.
