JoeyandDavid
Every vessel that has a foreign itinerary and that carries 13 or more passengers is subject to twice-yearly inspections, and when necessary, a re-inspection by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Vessel Sanitation Program (VSP). Inspections are based on the Vessel Sanitation Operations Manual. During the inspection, cruise ships earn a score based criteria in the manual. The score is published every month in the Summary of Sanitation Inspections of International Cruise Ships, commonly referred to as the Green Sheet . The ship's level of sanitation is acceptable to CDC if the ship earns 86 or higher during the inspection. Published scores and inspection reports can also be obtained by searching the on-line database. You can check your upcomming cruise ships latest Green sheet score at http://www2a.cdc.gov/nceh/VSPIRS/VspRptGreenSheet.asp

schatje
I see that the ship I booked for next year just passed "Victory". I hope they get there act together. Improper sanitation can be a huge problem  Thanks Joey for the info.
