Changing or transfer booking?

If you move your booking to another TA, do they honor the price for the cabins and the cabin credit ?

I think so. Call one up and ask, you definitely need a new TA. :rolleyes:

I believe you can change from a direct cruise booking to a TA but not from TA to TA. I will believe you would have to cancel and rebook.

I beleive Mary is correct.. I have heard , remind you now I have not verified, I was told(by my TA) that if a TA wanted to they could "refuse" to give back the booking.

So your only recourse would be to cancel and rebook.

Actually you can change from TA to TA. I did it just yesterday with a Celebrity booking.

While the "rules" vary from line to line a little bit for the most part it will take both agencies faxing in a letter to the cruise line stating the information they require. They'll want to know all the particulars of the cruise booking and it will need to be on agency letterhead, signed by someone at the agency,

In extreme cases I've been able to get the booking transferred without a letter from the old agency but that's not an easy one to pull off.

Remember, the cruise line wants happy guests. Every time I've done this the pricing, cabin credit, all the details came along with the booking.
