jbond
I've just booked a cabin on the Queen Mary, QM 1 in Long beach. We are staying there overnight before we sail on the Coral Princess. My brother and his wife will be with us and our daughter and her husband will be joining us for dinner. Last time we were all on QM was when our daughter got married, so it should be a "Night to Remember", or was that Titanic?
JoeyandDavid
Jbond QM1 is a faboulous Museum.... you guys will love her if you have never seen her up close and personal, they say she is haunted
Dan
We were going to stay there before our cruise next January, even though the cruise is out of San Pedro, but nothing was available that night. Now we think, given the late arrival of our flight, that we'll just stay at the airport Hilton or something.
jtutak
Visited the QM many years, a wonderful experience I am jealous that you will spend the night. But to answer your question I would say no you have to leave the port for it to be a cruise. I am sure though you will enjoy the Coral Princess, she is a wonderful ship. hazelson
I loved her - but was kind of dissappointed that none of the ghosts wanted to talk to me. Next time I'll take my ouija board. The only thing I didn't like was the fact the "casual" eateries closed up so early. Other than that - so much to see - Wow. That ship reeks of history.
