cruisinmama
I was wondering as I read so many points of view on this and I even called RCI and they didn't know.. How they didn't have an idea is beyond me.. she was like well then don't put too much $$ on..I said it would be a cabin credit...and she said" make sure you use it then"....so does that mean you keep it, she said no..HUH??? If you have cabin credit and you don't use it all , what happens? I heard either "too bad" or "they keep it"..others said they have never had a + on there account at the end..lol.. Thanks
jtutak
Has far as I know cabin credit is nonrefundable, and can't be used in the Casino or for tips. And don't worry you will use it all up and it won't be an issue.  If you leave a cash deposit instead of a CC for your onboard account you would of course get a refund on the unused balance
Dan
I've heard different stories from different lines. On Carnival 4 years ago, we had a $440 credit due to not cancelling right after 9/11. We didn't use it up during the week, and when I went down to settle our account, they handed me a couple hundred dollars back.
