GottaCruz
Well, Crazies, we did it again. Got a great deal on the Fascination again so we just returned from the 3 day cruise to Nassau.. We had a wonderful time. We went with another family, who we've been great friends with for 15 years now. The weather was perfect, the company was great , but I do have to admit that I practically know the shows by heart. Oh well, it really doesn't matter to us. Whenever hubby Wayne gets the urge and the price is right, I'm packed and ready in no time. It's very easy for us since we're only 45 minutes from the port. DD went to school on Friday until 11:00 AM and today we got off the ship at 7:15, home by 8:00 and got her to school with time to spare. Since we had to get up about 6:00 AM , we only had about a3 hourrs of sleep so of course Jason went back to sleep and finally got up a few minutes ago. Hubby took a nap for an hour and headed to work and I'm here just catching up with reading everyone's posts and doing the laundry. Jason will be coming along soon. He has some interesting updates for you on the Fascination. Hopefully, he'll be making his way out of bed shortly.
Jason
Hey everyone, Well, another great cruise aboard the Fascination has ended...We had a great time!! The food was delicious, the weather couldn't have been any more perfect, and the water was so smooth that it felt like we were on land! Went shopping in the Straw Market and in the shops in the Bahamas, and got some nice souvenirs. I've got pictures to share, I'll get them up as soon as I can.

KeithnRita
If we lived that close to a cruise port we would probably end up in the poor house from taking last minute cruises. We like to do things spur of the moment anyway. Welcome back to reality, and so sorry your cruise has ended!
jtutak
Let me know next time you find a good deal. We only live about 1/;45 min from Mia & are are always cruising "spur of the moment"

teacp
That's great..........I am with Keith and Rita if we lived that close we would be broke. We are 35 minutes from the Riverboat Casino and it kills me not to go three times a week. lol

GottaCruz
Thanks, everyone. We've done this cruise, this ship quite a few times already and did a review for it a while back. Jason will be posting some photos of some new features on the ship shortly. We are able to maintain a bit of control over our desire to be cruising only because DD can't miss much school and I refuse to go on another cruise until I lose the weight I gain from the previous ones. If I didn't do that, I would be in serious trouble. I know this sounds crazy, but the 3 days, since we do it so often, is perfect for us. It just gives hubby a chance to destress himself , we only put on 2-3 pounds and 3 days of keeping track of DD is enough for me. Now when Wayne and I can cruise by ourselves, that will be a whole different story but that's not for quite a few years.
