Only thing i guess i could come up with is...........no offense...you and i and whoever are only one customer.....how many does this TA have ????..1.2...11.44..66..99....???? Then to check multiple times a day every day for every customer......i guess it could get overwhelming especially for a new TA. I know it's a crapshoot...luckily we all find our one great TA.....i did a while back but he got out of the business and moved north....... cruisinmama Posted August 28, 2005 Author Report Share Posted August 28, 2005 Well I think if your going to become a TA you need to be organized..and even if she has 100 clients I'm sure they all are not sailing the same month I am... Plus I'm sure if she emails all her clients to say if they get any more rate drop she has to take some of the cabin credit away to compensate her commission..she won't have any left to plan things for.. Then are many other blunders including calling our home and saying who she was on the answering machine when it was a surprise.. Then b/c she didn't do her job right in booking , things go messed up and our reserv was lost... Thus we scrambled to find new cabins... I think when your new to the Cruising world and you get the TA from hell, it doesn't make things even slightly enjoyable to plan... Being disorganzied or making stupid mistakes doesn't excuse her, I thought a TA would be more onto things than this one is... cruisinmama Posted August 31, 2005 Author Report Share Posted August 31, 2005 I have done so days ago but this is TA is not answering ....so I can't transfer it since they can't get ahold of her.."or so I am told" If my posts have come across mean or mad, they are not meant to be.I was just replying to a post that maybe she had too many customers..and I posted I didn't think that she had too many for our Cruise date... but that shouldn't excuse her for all her other blunders........thats all I was posting to..... I didn't know I couldn't make changes through the Cruiseline since I had a TA....thats what the original post was about...we have been dealing with this TA since May and each month a new problem happens... Again things other Cruisers know about doesn't mean the rest of us who are new would automatically know....but I'm slowly learning.. Sorry if this has gotten out of hand ...
