Galveston

Looks like we will be sailing out of Galveston in the spring. Any good suggestions for what not-to-miss while we are there?

It will definately not be New Orleans - but we will make the best of it. We will get to NO one day - she may be down but she is definately not out.

Do a google search and you will come up with tons of info on Galveston.........no, it's not New Orleans, but it has it's own unique charm! Plus you will get to see what a place looks like 100 years after being leveled by a hurricane stronger than Katrina - with an estimated 12.000 people dying. The recovery is amazing!
