Suzila
I'm not a DISNEY sort of person. Have been to Disneyland many times (only because I've been FORCED to go...once was plenty for me), and don't wish to frequent any of the other parks. I don't keep up with Disney at all, and thought Hong Kong would have had a park a long time ago! LOL!
JoeyandDavid
wow ..didn’t we just take the zippity do out of their zippity day. My point was I don’t think Walt would approve of what his companies name has become to symbolize. ( but then again I haven’t spoke to him lately either! )
schatje
Saw this on the news this morning and the funny thing that stuck me is that they don't even know who Mickey is. Mickey was banded from China for years. Personally I have never been to Disneyland/ World or my children. So I really can't comment further. Suzila
Yeah...it doesn't look like too many of us are Disney fans. I sort of find that unusual...so many people I know have year passes to Disney here. But I can't imagine why anyone would want to go back again and again and again all year long. I wonder how many of us have ever been on a Disney cruise, and is it worth the extra money? eople say it's more expensive than many other cruises, and then I guess you also have loads of kids on board. i have no problem with that, but i assume all the entertainment is geared to kids. Yes? No?
DaCruzNut
OK, let's get something straight; I LOVE the Magic Kingdom! Mickey has always been a favoprite and, the first time I saw him, 'live', in the nighttime parade, in 1972, tears came to my eyes. Silly? Sure is, but it happened... What I"m not thrilled with is what Disney Land and Disneyworld have become. Walt Disney had a different view of what the parks should be, as opposed to what "Corporate Disney" pictures. What Walt envisioned for the Magic Kingdom, and EPCOT was far different than what they have become. Yet, a walk down Main Street is still something special....
