Tut
Now it's a category 5 but it's predicted to be a Cat 3 by landfall - which is bad enough. Residents and tourists in locations such as Corpus Christi, Aransas Pass, San Jose Island, Matagorda Island, Port Lavaca, Port O'Connor, Bay City, Lake Jackson, Freeport, Galveston, Texas City, Houston, and Port Author should ALL prepare for a very dangerous landfalling major hurricane. So I guess they're still thinking Texas. We'll have to wait and see what happens. Hopefully, there won't be too much damage or lives lost. We're praying for everyone along the Texas coast. Dan
RCI has announced that the Rhapsody won't come back into Galveston until Monday at the earliest (normally Sunday). Carnival says they *may* have further info on Conquest on Thursday afternoon.
hazelson
Sue change your flights to Vancouver - and grab a limo. We won't be here but we can always leave the key under the mat for you and the keys to the truck as well :o) You do like cats don't you? And dogs and lovebirds? Good luck whatever you decide to do. JoeyandDavid
Anniversaries are for spending time with your mate... As long as both of you are safe and sound there will time for another cruise.. Sue your plans may be changed but the one true fact is you and hubby are together and safe.. and that’s the bottom line. And one other point .. (I hate it when people tell me this ..) but it's true .."we might not understand it ..but things happen for a reason!" Tut
Thanks Jennifer. That sounds like a great idea. As far as the cats and dogs go, we've two cats and our son (who lives next door to us) has 2 cats and 3 dogs. The dogs are always at our house where "Grandma" feeds them cookies all the time so no problem there. Um-m-m I've never been around too many birds (except the ones I feed outside) but I guess I wouldn't have a problem with them either. They might be competing with my hubby and me. Ah-h-h-h-h!! You're all right about the time we spend together. That's the important part and that we're safe. So like I said before, I'm not sure what we're doing, but we'll definitaly be doing something.
