Waterproof camera's ?

I'm looking into some water proof cameras ...so far Fuji..has a deal...wondered if anyone had any thoughts on ones you've used or heard good things about a certain brand..or is any ok to use.??

We used the Fuji disposable underwater camera when we were in the Cayman Islands. We were very happy with the photos and would not hesitate to use them again. I believe we paid about $7 for it.

I've been looking at them also. I just purchased the Kodak brand for less than $9, the Fuji brand was less than $8 at our Wal-Mart. I chose the Kodak just because I liked the look of it better and in my other 35mm camera I have always liked the photos from the Kodak film better.

Oh good to know..maybe I'll look into Walmart also...even in Canuck funds might be around the same..

Ann a few years back we experimented with both the Fuji and Kodak cameras while snorkeling in Aruba. When the pictures came back the Fuji ones were much better, especially the underwater ones. My daughter who was taking photography at the time thought that the Fuji's turned out better too.

I went to Mexico this past summer and used a Fuji camera from Target, the pictures came out very blurry and lacked color. I was very dissappointed in my camera.

This photo was taken at Buck Island in 1997 with a $6.00 disposable underwater camera. Don't remember if it was Kodak or Fuji.
