Cabin? any one or are ya picky?

When we book far in advance we book mid-ship outside in one of the lower decks. When we book late we take what's available. Just get us on the ship!

I really don't care! I've had everytihing from amini-suite to an inside, and loved them all. I enjoy a balcony, when I have one, but don't miss it when I don't. I don't mind an inside, for w three-night cruise, but need, at leat, a porthole for a week.

I will say, though, that my all time favorite cabin was 108, an inside, on the Britanis. It was gigantic! I sailed in 108 ten times. I once had a party, with 12 people, in the cabin and it wasn't crowded...

If someone wants to give me a ticket I really don't care where my cabin is!!

However I must admit we are quite partial to the aft balconies. They are so much larger than the side ones and given a preference that is what we always book. Since we usually book quite far out we normally have no problem getting those cabins and have them for our next 2 cruises.

We also pick out a cabin to our liking. My wife will not cruise unless we have a balcony, and we do try to get it near mid-ship. That's one of the reasons that we usually book early. :cool:

We aren't picky about the location or type of cabin we have for our cruises. For us, cost is the most important factor. We will even sleep on the open decks! :grin: Just get us on any cruiseship!

I generally don't care where I am on the ship as long as I have an oceanview. I will even accept a porthole.

Lisa63 you have got it figured out! Cabin location is an essential part of our planning.

Long ago we were assigned a cabin right above the disco on an RCI ship. It sounded like we were inside a huge woofer speaker! We got moved inside of 20 minutes of entering the room!

Since then I select the cabin and don't even think about upgrades.
