I was on the Miracle this Easter (which is a spirit class) and is a great size for your first cruise and with her being a fairly modern ship you should have no problems. Congrats on your Anniversary and I hope you have a great time on your cruise. :smiley:

Welcome aboard Julie, can't add anything that hasn't been said already, Alaska is beautiful, my wife and I lived in the interior for 3 1/2 yrs. We never got a chance to get down that way but someday soon we'll take the same trip!!!

Our first cruise was for our 25th anniversary too. You'll be hooked on cruising. We haven't done an Alaska cruise yet, but it's on our list. We lived in Alaska and our son lives there now. Don't forget a warm hat and gloves, and raingear.

binoculars (you better each have your own pair)

go to Bullwinkle's Pizza Parlor in Juneau, they used to have the best pizza

Our picture window used to frame the Mendenhall Glacier. It was beautiful. Now I'm getting homesick.

sewut51 what part of Alaska did you live in, my wife and I were stationed at Ft Greely, just outside of Delta Jct for 3 1/2 years. Didn't want to leave but with the military you can normally just stay so long!!!
