I caught this in the Miami Herald. It might answer your question.

(MIAMI-OCT. 14, 2005) Celebrity Cruise Lines announced, Thursday, that it will be placing the Millenium into drydock, for an extended period of time, April 12, 2006. It will be in dry dock for three months. During the layup, the ship will undergo some major refurbishments and improvements.

The carpeting in all the common areas will be replaced; the outdoor carpeting, on the Lido Deck, will be replaced; staterooms will get a new coat of paint; the ship will be cut in half, and several new sections, presently under construction, will be added, changing the shape and design of the ship; and a new 'Star Drive" will be added.

The final change will be a new name for the ship. Follwing the refurbishment, the "Millenium" will be renamed the "Millenium Falcon."
