Dunn's River Falls

I need some advice about water shoes for Dunn's River Falls. We have 3 kinds and I don't know which ones would be best. We have the ones with the thin rubber bottoms with knit top, sometimes called Aqua Socks, some that are made more like tennis shoes with rubber bottoms and speed laced tops and some that are kind of in between the two, heavier than the Aqua Socks, but lighter than the others with a little stiffer sole.

I'd go with the ones that are like tennis shoes. I did it in an old pair of 'sneakers,' and it worked out great!

I agree with Jeff...we also used old sneakers and they were really good.

By the way, a nice way to fend off the 'pushy' vendors is to use their own 'patois' on them, in a friendly way. Just tell them, "Tanks, mon, but medowanone (me don't want none)." It's a lot more friendly than, "get out of here."
