lindyf
Thanks to all for their info and advice. I will take the advice and try to quit worrying. Deep down I know that it will be fine. I understand that there's always shopping at all the ports!!!!!!!
hazelson
Lindyf - been there done that - got the shirt...... and the mug and the shot glass lol You will have a wonderful time - it's the second cruise and the third and the .... well you get the picture! The first one is the most special. When you feel the ship actually moving away from the dock is when it will hit you - you're sailing!!! There is no feeling quite like it. I envy you - I'm an old salt now - with three cruises under my (ever tightening) belt. One of the nicest things about cruising is that you can go at your own pace - no rushing anywhere - unless you want to. I live to shop - and the shopping is great - even on board. And let's not even talk about the food - yikes!!!! We were all in the same boat (pun intended) on our first cruises - but these boards help immensely. Be sure to check out the packing lists - it's amazing the things that don't even cross your mind - like duct tape, bungee cord, power bar, alarm clock. Enjoy the preparation and the anticipation and most of all enjoy your first cruise experience. Probably not quite as exciting as those wonderful grandbabies - but a close second! And ask questions - someone will have the answer - and even if we don't we like to talk anyway    ttfn Jennifer
