Karen... For a person like me, a detailed organizer... I get more enjoyment out of the planning and then watching the execution of my planning take form. That for me is my idea of a great vacation. It is very cool that I get to see some of the most wonderful places in the world while I have “my†Fun. How freaking sick is that!

As soon as the US dollar strengthens we will be coming your way..

international phones work, but are pricey and the charges per minute are high, i've used a satalite phone before, but the minutes are the same. I've used them to make calls from korea when i was stationed there a few years ago, of course, uncle sam picked up the bill. But if your looking for a REALLY cheap way to call people from distant locations ( i know this from the military aswell)

PRE-PAID PHONE CARDS! there cheap, and and easy way to call world wide for pennys on the dollar! of course, i recommend using them on land-lines only.

As long as you do what makes you happy then we are happy & lets hope the dollar strengthens in spring when the weather gets a bit nicer cos you dont want to be here in sunny Lancashire during the winter months!!!! (unless you like grey dismal weather haha)

You will be my go to person for the UK .....and I cant wait to start planning that either a week in UK and a few days in amsterdam thats the Origional thought!..most likely we will do you guys as a land vacation.. You dont go home to "mother" for just a few hours :grin:
