Mebert
gymbrat33, Thanks for the Carnival Liberty review. It sounds like you had a great time. I'm sorry that the Liberty did not have enough activities for the guests. Who was the Cruise Director? Was it John Heald? John Heald was excellent in August. I wonder what happened. gymbrat33
Mebert, You're Welcome! The cruise director was John Heald. I never saw him on the ship. On formal night since we were late for the 8:00 seating, we went to the 8:30 dining room and it was full of Carnival employees. We left and had dinner on the lido deck. They didn't even play the sail away party on the T.V. which they always play nonstop. JoeyandDavid, You're Welcome! Yes, the first timers are definitely hooked. Cruisingmama, You're welcome! No, we didn't rent a day room. We went to the aquarium and hung around the hotel.

GottaCruz
gymbrat, The pasta station sounds great. And on top of that, a superfast lifeboat drill, now that's fantastic. Thanks for the review. Glad you all enjoyed it. I hope to get to sail the LIberty one of these days.

Shari2
Thanks for the great review, gymbrat! I haven't been on Carnival in many years. The "Liberty" sounds like a ship that I would like to try. Glad you had a nice cruise!
gymbrat33
You're Welcome, everyone! Shari2, Their newest ships the Liberty and the Valor are the most elegant ships. You'll definitely love them and there are so many activities scheduled.
