Suzila Posted November 28, 2005 Report Share Posted November 28, 2005 I've been trying to get a pick up from Port Of Miami...I just called larry's Limo..and they won't do it b/c we don't have a cell phone to use to call them at the Pier when we get off.. ---- I'd call Larry's Limo back and give them a phone number. I don't care what number it is...look something up that is a U.S. phone number, and give it to them. You said it yourself- you will give them a call when you get off the ship and have them pick you up. They're worried that you won't call when you get off, and they have no way of tracking them down. This is ridiculous. You need the limo- YOU know you're going to call them. Just give them any old number and tell them that's your cell phone. This is soooo aggravating for you. Ok on pick up..I called or emailed a few transport people..I talked with Larry Limo and yes we would pre-pay but b/c we didn't have a usa cell phone he wouldn't book it..I said well if I pre-pay and I call from a pay phone , what would I do, he said well you would have to call the 1-800 number..so I said? we can wait if I pre-pay I'm going to call you have my money..lol..he said they have had trouble with others doing things this way and no he wouldn't book us... So I got another place Miami Top Shuttle so I'm waiting for a response from them. So far all I know about the Cruise is that the TA screwed things up with a group cruise # and then when it switched to regular and then she did the final payment to the old booking..All I know and RCI knows they have our money ( I did fax them a copy of our Visa statement) and now they are trying to follow a paper trail. They were unsure if our cabins were open..so since we have 2 cabins booked they weren't sure if we were able to get those cabins or any.. Makes no sense to me..I mean how can someone pay for a Cruise and them not know for what cabins?? So I made it very clear if we don't Cruise on that sailing I want my money back..no credit..no if ands or buts!!!! So its a waiting game....and I will say I'm short on patience .. lmao Dh & I have decided we just don't give a crap anymore..its been hell from the beginning not much else could go wrong, that we just have given up caring either way.. so we will hit FLL/Miami and hell if we get to Cruise its a bonus... cruisinmama Posted November 29, 2005 Author Report Share Posted November 29, 2005 LOL..oh she is gone....I gave RCI complete go ahead and faxed a letter saying so when I faxed our Visa stuff. and I do have a nice lady working on things..and even though she couldn't say so, I said we got a real winner she just said Umm huhhhh ..so she is trying to figure it all out.. So just wasn't sure if we had the right cabins as we made changes and since we never got a confimation" from the TA" a lesson learned..they were trying to figure it all out..
