jsme
HI I am just going back and reading some posts and ran across yours. Yes some of the ports you visit are very educational. It is heart breaking at times. I hate to say this and I do hope everyone understands how I mean this, but I love for my kids to go with us and see first hand the proverty of various areas. This is educational for them to see how very lucky they are to have the (too) many things they do have. I have only been to Jamaica once and that was on our first cruise in 1992. Jeff wanted to go so that is why we decided on this cruise. I think he was surprised. Recently he had a cousin to live there for about two years. She was able to live in the lap of luxuzy the entire time she was there. Her children attended private school, the had a housekeeper, and a nanny. But she was so ready to come home although he life is much less pampered now. Cruising can be expensive. It really depends on what you want to spend. I hate you had to find out the hard way on the expense of the trip. I hope you were prepared for it. Jeff and myself tend to go on several vacations a year. Some are all inclusive and others are cruises. While we love going to an island the cruises ae our favorite. We love the way you are taken care of and all the activities. I love the way I am pampered on a cruise. For me this is the ultimate vacation.
