Panama Canal Full Transit Cruises are Availible thru Celebrity thru april, so depending when you were thinking spring was.. hope that helps.

Are you asking about a full transit, or just going through the locks into Gatun Lake and back out again into the Caribbean?

Most full transits are repositioning cruises. In the spring from the Caribbean to Alaska and in the fall, vice versa.

The partial transits are usually in the winter season when the Europe based ships return to the Caribbean.

Wwe've never done a partial transit, but we've done three full transits. I prefer the spring, the weather is better.

We will be sailing the full transit from Ft. Lauderdale to San Francisco on May 3rd aboard the Coral Princess, so it would appear that Princess is sailing a bit later than Celebrity.

Never done the canal before and are really looking forward to this cruise. It's been on our "must do" list for quite awhile. :cool:

Oh if you want a half canal it opens all kind of itineraries and departure ports and sailing dates! thats another ball game IMHO
