I found another Cruise but its on the Explorer again,do you think its a waste to go on the same ship? we enjoyed the ship but being so new with Cruising wonder if its a waste not to try other Ships.

Wonder how many of you have sailed on the same ship once? twice? or more..

Thanks

We'll be taking our fourth cruise on Norwegian Majesty this summer. Three of those times are the same itinerary. We also sailed SS SeaBreeze twice. There is often so much to see on board that one trip doesn't suffice! And even though the ships are the same, the people you meet will help make it a different cruise. Staying in a different cabin also makes it seem newer.

If you liked the ship, there's no reason not to sail her again. After all, they're all starting to look alike, anyway!

I loved the Britanis, and sailed on her 12 times. A lot of us 'locals,' love to get away for a long week-end, and have sailed of the Fascination's 3-niter several times. I know Cheryl, and company, has and I an a lot of my friends.

Did the Sovereign of the Seas twice (disliked both...).

And, of course, another favorite, The Dolphin IV, a few times.

We were on RCL Viking Serenade several times, and now Carnival Pride and Paradise a number of times. We live only 45 minutes from the dock and if we want a quickie Mon-Fri Baja cruise, we're limited to which ships we can take.

I have no problem going on the same ships...after one or two times, you SHOULD get to know your way around without using the map! LOL!

I wouldn't avoid a ship just because I've been on it, unless it wasn't enjoyable. I do tend, while researching cruises, to look at something different, but I can definitely see us repeating the Grand Princess class (and the Sapphire this month isn't a whole lot different anyway), and I am even considering repeating on the Carnival Victory later this year.
