jsme
I have not been on a larger ship yet. I have only seen the Navigator once in the Bahamas last year. I can not say about the QM2. I would love to see her. My family is booked on the Freedom in November. I wonder if I will stay lost? LOL
Joanandjoe
Selena, you probably mean the Navigator of the Seas, a big RCCL ship. I meant the Radisson Seven Seas Navigator, a much smaller ship. I don't think Radisson goes to the Bahamas, except for very rare itineraries. Hazelson, sometimes bigger is better, sometimes smaller is better. Joan is 5' 0", and I think she's just the right size. Men are generally bigger than women; unfortunately, that doesn't necessarily make us better. For me, smaller ships are better. I'm from NJ, and I prefer my state to the bigger states. Small ports are often more enjoyable than big ports, since you can tour the whole port on foot. There are many, many things for which smaller is better than big--that's why there's an expression "good things come in small packages". Chacun a son gout! One thing where I think large size is important is cabins. Unlike Dan, we use our cabin a lot, and small cabin size is the major reason we haven't tried Princess, and like HAL better than Celebrity.
