eagleforest
In my Yahoo Group one of the CS's posted that NCL will be offering a 4 lane bowling alley in a sports bar setting. My question is will the pins be magnatized to the floor. Considering a wavy day could send my hook into another lane. But that would add 40 + lbs to one suitcase as I would have to bring my competition toys with me. Oh dear what will they think of next http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ROYAL_CARIBB...UP/message/1884
Joanandjoe
Boxing is what they've thought of next<] Following on the heels of the NCL bowling announcement was an announcement that Royal Carib.'s Freedom of the Seas will have a full size boxing ring, complete with trainers, punching bags, etc. Not our cup of tea; but, then, neither is a rock climbing wall or a surfer pool. I guess we're not the target audience.
eagleforest
Well with the boxing ring I can see one thing. More medical staff will be needed. Can you see the husband wife night? The in-law fight night? The brother sister rematch? The wife and ex wife matches? On the bowling side you can see the interior cabins against the JS. ANd the lists go on and on
JohnG
NCL is talking about putting the 4 lane bowling alley, open 24 hours, in sort of a sports bar setting on the NCL Pearl. The said that is won't be stabilized. It will have bumper guards for children's bowling.
GottaCruz
Gee, with all these activities, who will have time to relax? YOu'll have to go on a vacation after a cruise. :cheesy:
Lisa63
Open 24 hours? I'd make sure my stateroom is not located directly below, lol. By the way, SS France had a bowling alley as part of its gymnasium. It wasn't very large, so I hear.
TheSkipper
Kind of reminds me of that old One Liner -- "I don't know if I should go bowling or just kill myself!!" Oh, well just one more onboard activity we can take a pass on. I imagine there will be a per line charge and it will become another profit center for the cruise line.
