Shari2
Hi delbankin... On my Panama Canal cruise and my Hawaii cruise the dress was pretty formal. Most of the women had on long gowns, and at least 50% of the men wore tuxes, and the rest had on dark suits. I think that either a tux or a dark suit would be fine, and for the ladies, a long gown or pretty cocktail dress or even a dressy pantsuit. There were some ladies with long black skirts and sparkly tops, etc. My last cruise was a year and a half ago, though. I have heard that on the summer cruises on the "Millie" in the Mediterranean there is a good mix of people. A lot more Europeans go in July and August because of a holiday or vacation, and there may be more children in the summer. _________________
JohnG
Celebrity is less formal than Cunard, definitely, but it is similar to Princess, both are premium cruise lines.
