2 Weeks and Counting Sappire Princess

Getting really excited now!!! :grin: Two weeks and we are cruising on the Sappire Princess out of LAX to Mexican Riviera....cannot wait! Keep fingers crossed--we are flying Delta---let's hope they do not strike!!

Our first time getting a balcony cabin...we normally get inside cabins...so I think we may be spoiled after this one!! :cool:

We were upgraded to a balcony on our first cruise, and now we won't cruise with out one. Have fun with the anticipation. :grin:

Have a great time. Balconies are great. Contrary to common opinion, you'll still feel able to do without a boacony after you've tried one (But you'd rather have one).

The Sapphire Princess is a beauty. At first glance I thought the buffet area was so small - but some how it all worked.

What deck are you on? The balconies are so different from deck to deck - size wise. We were on Carib - and we had a deck that was about 10 x 10 -partially covered but the people above could see down onto ours and we could see down to the one below - it extended out about 6 feet farther than ours. But the size was so nice. You can actually sit down out there and eat at the table and still have room for a couple of lounge chairs - super!

Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you re Delta. Don't worry - it will all work out. Have a great cruise!!!!

:cool: Very good. We were on that ship last Aug. to Alaska. You will luv it. I suggest going to the "meet the captain" opportunity. He is a cool, very funny guy. Also the specialty restaurant Sabbatinis is worth the surcharge. Bon voyage :grin:
