I think ..and trust me I really have no clue... we used to Vacation in April too..

But that was pre cruise era..now we take a week and do local things then 2/3 weeks in October/November for cruising... That is until next year when we take 3 weeks in January.soo I guess there is no rhyme or reason why we do what we do..lol

As far as all those April cruises on our calender I think it's a combo answer.....people celebrating tax season is over ..plus easter/spring break for families.... and maybe one more..its another month to cruise...do we need many reasons?

But honestly I dont know why..

April is a great time to cruise in the Caribbean. It is now towards the end of the dry season down there and for much of the region, it isn't too hopt yet. Almost all of the college kids are back to school, and (at the beginning of the month and the end of the month) so are the grade school children. There is a holiday week in the middle of the month, and I'll bet that most of those cruising this week is for that reason. We cruised last April, and it was a great cruise. As a bonus, you can find some good cruise bargains in April.

Yup, here in VT April is usually a time to celebrate. It was a super mild winter for a change, though....we only had to run the snowblower 3 times, which is unheard of!
