Rat
Whatever you do, do not sail during this Memorial Day weekend. My daughter with hundreds of other high school kids from various schools will be onboard for a music festival. They wanted us to chaperone, but we wanted no part of this possible nightmare. I feel sorry for unsuspecting cruisers though..................
sailinglisa
Joey - my friends and I did a 3 night cruise on the Majesty of the Seas (yes out of Miami but the same thing in principle). Yes, there did tend to be a bit more of a party atmosphere and yes, it is too short, but for what it was, it was a great time! Don't know if we lucked into it or what, but we had one of the best wait teams I have ever had on a cruise (Derya and Alma) - rivaled the best teams I have had on both Celebrity and Princess. The food was good, the atmosphere was a little crazy at times, the cabins (unless you are in a Superior Ocean View or higher) are SMALL! But, I really enjoyed that cruise and I was able to find quiet areas to relax when I needed to. I say go and enjoy realizing it will not be like a longer cruise at all, but a nice mini-break that will leave you wanting for more.
sailingrose
They have never complained about it being over the top.........and have always had a great time. They said for the money it was a great value. Of course I'd avoid times when the kids are out of school.
GottaCruz
Ah...............how nice it must be to just pick up and go. For me, any ship, any itinerary is a go. If only...................Just be careful of Memorial Day Weekend due to what Rat posted. Let us know what you decide.
