Joey, I just realized my Mom and Step-dad did this same cruise on the Millennium around the same time 2 years ago. It was a repositioning cruise from Barcelona to Ft Lauderdale.

They loved the ship and the cruise! They went with friends they met on a Hawaiian cruise a few years ago. Their friends live just across the river here in KY. It's the cruise, I think, that my Mom and Step-Dad slept thru life boat drill because they were so tired from traveling. :shocked: :shocked:

I've often wondered if they'd track you down for missing life boat drill. Interesting!

I bet they were tired from traveling.. we are scheduled to fly out of LAX on the evening of the 26th at 8:30pm and wont get to Barcelona till 730pm the 27th.. thats why we are going a couple days early... hopefully we will get adjusted to it and be able to get a good day in site seeing before our ship sails on the 29th....

I think Diane and Lou getting in on the 26th was smart..... i wonder how much it will cost me to change my flight. hmmmmmmm nah i am way too cheap I need to save my moneys for Tapas!!

wow we have 8 rooms at one property do you think we could get the hotel to throw us a get together.... LOL i teasing.. I was thinking of writing them and asking them to help arrange our get together at a local restaurant ask for suggestions....

Of course they would know where the hotel MonteCarlo that Paula and Trish are staying at in reference to their properties..

What do you guys think... ??

I just found out that Paula & Trish are just a 15 minute stroll away from us...so all the hotels are right there together

They didn't put them in time out or anything, however they had to attend another drill held on one of the port days. Suprisingly they were not alone.

We've been on ships held up by late arriving passengers who missed lifeboat drill and had to attend on another day.

p.s. Does anyone have room in their luggage for us?
