I'd like to start a list of those staying at Locanda Orseola post cruise. This will help us coordinate water taxis to the hotel and also, if we can, transportation to the airport. We can coordinate disembarkation with Celebrity for the same time/tag color. Please add/correct any information:

I sure hope you do - how about booking a room at the Locanda again, if you can get in, you can always cancel if you decide otherwise???? Just a suggestion :grin: :grin:

The port we would eliminate would be Croatia but with all that i havw read i am sure we will enjoy this little known port.

we will embark as soon as we check out. Jackie thanks for the tip abput the ship being a distance from anything because we half thought we might explore the waterfront area a little after boarding.

But it will be nice to settle in and relax... get to know the ship

Hi Everyone...We will be at the Locando Orseolo for 2 nights post cruise. Our flight VCE-LGW leaves around 5pm, I think. We'll spend the night close to Gatwidk and head LGW-DFW-STL the next day. I need to check previous days' posts...are y'all taking a talley of 'our' people staying at the Locando?

I just read the previous couple of pages...PLEASE count us interested in a water taxi from the ship to the Locando....It would be nice for the trip to the airport too, but don't know if our schedule is compatible with any others. Margaret :)

Gail... yes unfortunately the port is pretty industrial - this seems to be the trend in the Med...... the only ports that were pretty decent were Athens and Venice.
