PaulaW
Congratulations to all of you on your great discounts! As for me, I'm not even close!! I don't know if I should be happy or sad! I think we are going to do the Olympic on Santorini night. I am not that interested in a Greek buffet-- especially since there is only open seating in the dining room that night, too. I thought that the Normandie (specialty restaurant) on the Summit was simply amazing. I still remember that meal very fondly. The Chateaubriand for two and the tableside Caesar salads-- yum! If the Olympic is even half as good, it will be wonderful.
momwig
Jackie and Joey thanks for the Anniversary wishes -- how old for the senior discount?
chachabell
Kareen -- Congratulations to you and Bob on your anniversary. Lou and I are not going to the specialty restaurant. We are very pleased with the regular dining room food, and don't feel that spending another $30 pp is necessary. Just not that important to us. We rarely eat out at home so the main dining room is a treat for us.
JoeyandDavid
I have heard two answers... one is AARP (which you can join at 50) and the other as long as one member of your cabin is 55 or older. We qualified for both so ... :sealedlips:
Cruisergal
Gail, The on line forms are on the Celebrity site. They ask for your personal information such as contact numbers, passport #, address, phone #, ect. If you do not fill them out on line, there will be forms in you document package to fill out. Just be sure to have them filled out before you get to the pier for checkin. Saves a bunch of time!! Also, there will be a form for the charge card and signatures for the sign and sail cards. We have always done this on line as well doing the express check in on line. Mary Ann
zebra
yes Gail as Mary Ann replied - it's worth filling in the on line check in - then after showing your credit card at check in you are whisked on board - I'm all about fastest way possible! Paula - I agree. Last year on the Millennium the food in the Olympic was outstanding..... notches above the diningroom - oh my goodness I can't wait. The ambience....wow....especially for a special celebration. I love the head waiter (hope that's his title) taking me by the arm and walking me to the ladies room... real special. terumim
I also will get a kick out of just dining in the dining room. But ya never know what will happen once we get onboard.. going to a fancy place for dinner makes me nervous i always use the wrong fork or drop something on me LOL LOL All i can say is LOBSTER, SHRIMP..did anyone say DESSERT Now i also remember someone talking about the danishs ..have to start the day off with something in the tummy...someone made a suggestion about taking a couple with you to tuck in the bag you carry for emergency snack. The closer it gets the more excited i am....my dream cruise , i see all theses places on paper in books, and the idea i will see these places in person is just so exciting. Did the rest of you feel the same way when you first took your cruise to europe.... Tonia
