We are frugal so we don't have to be on vacation.. Plus I need a balcony... and who wouldn't want an aft balcony :wink:

Since this is our first cruise we don't know what a balcony would add. You have the right idea Joey --- things will change for us after DD graduates from college and a semester early at that.

I will say if we had to raise a child there be no way we could do what we do...

When we started cruising, ocean view worked for us. But we really got spoiled with a FV for Alaska. Now we always get a balcony unless we are on an older ship like the Galaxy where the premium for a balcony is not realistic for us. But our kids are all on their own. Hardly vacationed before that! FYI - we will be in Colorado for 10 days leaving tomorrow. I don't expect to do any posting, as we will be using dial-up w/laptop.

LOL Diane we are so spoiled that we might not book because lack of balcony.. it can be a deal breaker for us.

FYI Have a safe trip and you can catch up when you guys get back...(being nosy cause well I am ) what's going on in Colorado? :grin:

Suanne and Harvey do have a balcony and they are right across the hall from us. We expect to spend time out there with them. Diane & Lou have a great vacation.

Yes I think this is their third Celebrity Cruise within the last 2 years. Both in the winter to warm places.

I have only been on one cruise and a couple we met had a balcony, and OMG i was sold .....It was the most beautiful thing to watch as we left a port....I know when i go down to the beach the waves and the smell of the sea is so relaxing....I am thinking of leaving the door open to hear the sea and smell and walking out on the balcony with my morning coffee or just to relax after a long day... OK thats my vision
