OK, Joey -- Maybe I'm dense -- but I found your post about the discount confusing. I thought you were talking about the bullet train. In any case, I will call tomorrow about the discount. Anyone that knows me, knows I am about as frugel as they come. I chase down every discount or credit I'm aware of. The more I save the more I cruise.

Thank you for going to so much trouble for all of us... it is nice to know the reason why some are eligible and others are not. Not knowing the reason for something drives me nuts. You do good work, my friend :smiley:

so did everyone have a good weekend? my best friiend can to vist for the weekend to help me go through two sets of parents household items to get ready for an estate garage sale we are having in two weeks. Got to love a freind like that. She is the best. Lot of work but more enjoyable working side by side with someone. we will be so glad when thie sale is complete...my basement and garage are full to capacity with all the stuff.

Joey -- My intent was not to be critical, but to explain why I hadn't jumped on the discount idea earlier. I did finally "get it" but just not when you first brought it up. I did call the Captains Club this evening when I realized they were still open. Discount does not apply to my cabin level (2C), however, I did find out that because of the seniors discount I can upgrade to CC for only $100 pp. I think I've found an available cabin that I will like. I had one of those extra large balconies in 2C. I will call back first thing in the morning.

Joey, thanks so much for delving into this discount situation - so glad it has been resolved!

Joey we still have room for a couple. Joe has not responded either way to my email. Also we have a new poster, Debbie - they are a group of 10 and will be joining our roll call. She emailed me and wondered if our group could take an additional 10 people to Tuscany.

This morning I was able to upgrade to CC using the Seniors Discount for only $90 more pp. We are now in Cabin 9038 which has an extra large balcony. Not fantail but still a large balcony. This cabin must have just been released when final payment was due. Timing really worked out well. Joey, thanks for all your research on the discount. It helped me get a real steal!
