This cruise couldn't be anything great but with your tips and inside information I'm sure it will be even better. I read Angles and Demons it was a great read - made me want to sign up for the Celebrity Angels and Demons tour but I'm sure our tour of Rome will be better. Another good book is The City of Falling Angels by John Berendt it tells a story of Venice that many people don't know. It also gives a great description of the physical layout of the city as it tells the story.

It is the annual Society of Nuclear Medicine Conference. Draws about 5000 people. Paul is coming also because we are ending the week at his cousin's wedding. We have friends in San Diego and another cousin in LA.

He will keep busy hanging out while i work and then later in the week we are going to drive the coast road up to Monteray area for a couple of days.

will be nice to get away from work for awhile. Although the conference keeps you busy from morning into the evening with sessions and vendor events and talks- it is somehow energizing- I love to learn new things and look at the latest in technology and catch up with people i don't see often- nice networking

But as I said, i will miss my computer. This is addicting!

Oh, visited the other CC site this evening and told everyone to comeon over, lots of conversation here. We will see if anyone else joins us... hope so.

This cruise is our belated 25th anniversary celebration - just a year and a few months late -- hard to put the bucks together when the kids are still in college.

Mike and I decided to find out where Joey and David went! Thanks for passing along the website, Gail. The first time I typed, I think I did a finger fault! I'd love to know what happened with you and x, Joey...Maybe someday!

Of the celebrations onboard, I know that Catharine (of our large group) is celebrating her 30th (yeah, really...someone that young! :grin: ...BUT interesting and lots of fun!) sometime during the cruise.
