Hi Paula glad you found us....

I thought it might be better if David and I moved our Party to this forum.

And low and behold almost everyone from the other Roll Call has joined us again.. Personally I could not be more pleased :grin:

I look forward to getting to know you two.. and I found out I wrote our hotel and they said your hotel is just a 15 minute walk from ours.. your I think at 142 Rambla de Catalunya and most us are at 30 Rambla de Catalunya.. So I think thats outstanding.. this should be a fun night in Barcelona....dont you think? You guys are comming in on the train arent you....that is too cool

Hey Miss Jackie .. lets talk weather.. You did this last year same time frame correct?..

So tell us about the weather..... what should we be packing to wear in these port of call...

is it rainy , sweater and coat cool , gloves? will polo shirts or do we need the heavy shirts..do for day time ..whats the deal.... :grin:

Thanks again for the welcome. And also thank you for the research you did regarding our hotel. I'm glad to hear that we are nearby. We are going to be like one happy family!

No, we are not coming in on the train. We actually have a flight on Air Iberia from Madrid. It was so cheap, it was ridiculous-- we'd have been fools not to fly. It worked out to about $45 US pp!

Post cruise, most of you guys are staying at Locando Orseolo, too, correct? Maybe we can share water taxis?? As I understand, they are expensive, but the best way to get to the hotel, especially with luggage! I have also heard it may be possible to store luggage at the terminal. Does anyone else know anything about this?? It may be easier than dragging unneeded luggage thru Venice :undecided:
