becki let me know the other day jet lag kills her the first day so i will exploring the first day by myself LOL .. we get in at 11 am on the 27th

i am sure i can find some interesting things to look at

Jackie i found a great restaurant downtown the other night.. its a bit expensive 35 per person.. but its all you can eat.. great salad bar ( ie wrapped eggplant , fresh green bean salad, white arspargus, soups fried bananas )and GREAT meats... served Brazilian BBq style...... waiters walk around with different meats on skerwers and you turn this thingie on the table over to green if you want him to stop... pork , sausage, filet wrapped in bacon, top , prime rib , bbq ribs OMG it was yummy.all the meats melt in your mouth. The name is REI DE GADO on 4th /Broadway restaurant is on 4th... just a thought when in town .. we all enjoyed it so much we are going back again in a couple weeks..... :cheesy:

OMG Tonia we have one of those Brizilian restaurants too - Tony's absolute favorite - he's a real meat and potatoes man, and they have the best steak you've ever tasted. I'm so glad you told me, hopefully we can check it out!

If my plane leaves at lax at 8:30pm and i want to adjust my watch at takeoff so it will be reflective of Barcelona time ..

How should I adjust my watch?

Joey -- Add 9 hrs. -- 3 to the east coast and another 6 hrs to Barcelona. 5:30 am by my calculations.

Diane, we are trying to get tickets for 11/12. We do not leave Venice until 830pm on the 12th- so thought it would be nice to do after we check out. i imagine we will be able to stor our luggage at LO. i forgot to mention the site we were using is tickitaly.com

Tonia, we arrive around noon on the 27th and are staying at the same hotel you guys are- if we meet up, you can hang with us if you want. We will be flying in from Tel Aviv so we will be tried only because we will have had to be at the airport at 3am to check in- not as bad as jet lag.

Thanks for smuggling us off for the tours and taxi share. We may find we like hanging out with the elite crowd in CC :grin:

Hey All...Mike here as Margaret is still busy cruising with her flight attendant friends. I'm sure we will go with whatever works for most folks. Beyond that I am proud to say I now have enough maturity to know not to make any plans without the input of my favorite cruise director.

Yes 9 hr different from west coast time and barcelona time....i wanted to know when to try to call home and it seems like around 3-4pm it would be about 6-7 here on west coast to try to catch BF just b4 he leaves for work

I have to let the puppies hear mommy's voice so they don't forget me LOL LOL ( ok so my puppies weigh in at 170, 85,90, 80,85 but they are mommy's babies they are rotties ).. brewster, sassy, sherona, buster, spreckles.. and ollie , and scooter the cats i have a zoo
