zebra
Well Venice gang..it looks like Euro 11-12 per son to get to the hotel - that's if we take 2 taxi's 6 people in each. What do you think? The other alternative is to take the shuttle to St. Marks Sq which we now have to pay for anyhow and then schlep all the luggage over uneven pavement and bridges!! The first option sounds more appealing to me.

JoeyandDavid
So no body likes the idea of a Commemorative Logo Item? I was thinking something in good taste a small logo type thing right over the left breast maybe.. something in almost a dress polo... PaulaW
Count me in on the water taxi, too!! There is no way I want to drag my luggage around Venice!! When I was there last year, I saw all these people schlepping their luggage around, and with all of the bridges and stairs, I thought they were crazy. If we can get away with ~10-12 Euros pp, that's a deal. How do you guys want to make arrangements? Diane-- Thank you so much for confirming the Nov.1st holiday with Claudio. I was getting very worried!! I am so relieved that we will be able to tour everything as planned. Tonia-- I know exactly how you feel about the working nights and the sleep thing. I worked 9pm to 7am last weekend, and thankfully, it was only 2 nights, but my body gets so screwed up. Fortunately, I can get back on schedule pretty quickly, though. It actually has helped me to learn to deal with jet lag, too!
