hi Joey... did you look into extending your trip by spending a night in venice?

as far as wine goes I like dry reds the best. I will have to check out the link you posted. I have Hugh johnson's pocket wine book. It breaks down info into regions and I thought it would be good to refernce when we are in port.

Dry Reds and Chianti's are my favorite. Tony is pretty much a beer or scotch whisky drinker.

I love Chardonnay.. Chablis..zinfeindel definitely a white wine drinker.. the red tends to give me indigestion..

I prefer white wine, but will drink most types if it is dry. Lou prefers white russians

Yes - Pinot Grigio's are also great - I've just started drinking whites and really enjoying Pinot Grigio wines.
